Active ingredients
- 280 g soft brown sugar
- 185 ml grease
- 3 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 5 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon powder
- pinch of salt
- 150 g grated carrots
- 75 g macadamias, saltless
- cake tins
- icing sugar mix
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 ˚C.
Beat the sugar and oil for approx. 3 minutes till it ends up being a homogenous mass.
Include the eggs 1 for 1 and blend well in.
Include the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt to the sugar and oil mix.
Include the grated carrot and macadamias and blend well.
Divide the mix amongst the cake tins and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes. Test with a cake tester to see if the cakes are all set.
Prepare the icing sugar mix following the guidelines on the package; ice the cakes utilizing a piping bag.
